Our educational philosophy, the EF Method, helps students build essential skills needed for future readiness in three primary growth areas. We build all of our itineraries based on the EF Method, so students are immersed in a continuous journey of experiential learning from the moment they step off the plane.
Just by visiting a new place, your child will gain more understanding of the world. Our approach to hands-on learning through authentic cultural exchange ensures they’ll also immerse themselves intellectually, culturally, and emotionally—throughout their entire tour.
Your child will engage all their senses as they feel what new places can teach them. As they make their own discoveries (like ordering a gelato in Italian!), they’ll build confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills. And with support and insightful context from your child’s Tour Director and local guides, they’ll discuss and reflect on these impactful moments throughout their trip.
When your child travels with a group of their peers (whether from their own school or another in the U.S.), they’ll automatically practice interpersonal skills like flexibility, adaptability, and compromise. They’ll also become stronger collaborators and communicators by engaging in group activities—and having shared experiences with other students outside their comfort zones builds confidence and connections that inspire action and impact back in their own communities.
