Applying for the Global Citizen Certificate

Travelers on EF Educational Tours programs who successfully complete a multimedia project based on their tour experience are now eligible to receive an EF | Nobel Prize Museum Global Citizen Certificate. The certificate, issued by EF Education First and the Nobel Prize Museum, is part of the Global Citizen Project, designed to equip students with the skills to be leaders for peace and global prosperity.

Alternatively, students can choose to complete the project as part of a course that will also give them academic credit. The deadline to register for an academic course is 60 days before tour departure.

Impact of the Global Citizen Project

By completing the Global Citizen Project, travelers will demonstrate how the knowledge they’ve gained from their tour experience has impacted their perspective, the communities they’ve interacted with, and their ability to confront important global challenges. Students will become part of a network of changemakers dedicated to making the world a better, more truthful place.

The project also gives you an opportunity to showcase your learnings to schools or employers. Certificate recipients can include it with their college applications or add it to their resumes and LinkedIn profiles.
